On Sundays at home when I was growing up we had a family tradition. Cookies and milk.
Now my family has a new recipe. So, en everyone is in pajamas and all cozy and warm in front of your favorite series consider making something even more delicious!
Mug cookies.
Say what!
As it's almost Christmas and I'm ultra mega generous, I'm going to share our recipe for happiness!
This recipe takes a total of 5 minutes to make, basically the time of needed to watch an ad or the roll of movie credits! What could be better than to make something that will put a smile on everyone's face.
Plus the thing is it's just a quick treat! You can do it on Sunday to accompany the coffee or milk, or you can make it on Wednesday afternoon with your children, young and old, it's all so easy that it is almost stupid and it's delicious!
Cookie In A Mug (for a single mug)
- 1 Soup spoon butter
- 1 Soup spoon white sugar
- 1 Soup spoon of brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 3 or 4 drops of vanilla
- 3 Soup spoon of flour
- 2 Soup spoon of white chocolate, milk or black, or the three broken into small pieces
Melt the butter in the mug in the microwave for a few seconds, then add the sugars and mix.
Then add the egg yolk and vanilla and mix again.
Stir in flour and add the chocolate and re-re-re-mix!
Microwave for about 1 minute depending on the power of your microwave.
You can microwave multiple mugs at one time.
Has the show started? Then to your spoons!
PS. Just to make you hungry you can add a lump of vanilla ice cream on top!
